## What's new

Tonight is the dated drop. Rockstar lists **Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look** for **27 August at 3 PM ET** on [rockstargames.com/VI](https://www.rockstargames.com/VI). In France and central Europe that is **21:00 CEST**. [Netflix Tudum](https://www.netflix.com/tudum/articles/grand-theft-auto-6-extended-first-look) says subscribers watch first — in-game PlayStation 5 footage, subtitles including French. YouTube and the official VI site follow **six hours later** (**03:00 CEST, 28 August**), as reported from Rockstar’s staggered schedule (VGC, IGN, Vice).

You do not need Netflix to do map work. You need the free official upload and the [interactive map](/en/map). Full EU walkthrough: [how to watch](/en/guides/gta-6-extended-look-how-to-watch).

Primary keyword: **gta 6 netflix trailer**. Related: **gta 6 extended look**, **gta 6 trailer 3**.

## Hours (do not invent a third clock)

| Zone | Netflix | YouTube / VI site |
|------|---------|-------------------|
| CEST (FR, DE, ES, IT) | 27 Aug 21:00 | 28 Aug 03:00 |
| BST (UK) | 27 Aug 20:00 | 28 Aug 02:00 |
| ET | 27 Aug 15:00 | 27 Aug 21:00 |

Runtime is **not** printed as an official Rockstar minute count in the sources we cite. Ignore “exactly 30 minutes” as gospel until you press play.

## What to do at 21:00

1. Netflix: search **Grand Theft Auto VI** / **Extended Look**.
2. Map-6: [Landmarks filter](/en/map), tabs for [Vice City](/en/locations/vice-city) and [Ocean Drive](/en/locations/ocean-drive).
3. Notes: timestamp + HUD X/Y + confidence. Sequence: [trailer checklist](/en/news/gta-6-trailer-watch-map-checklist).
4. Creators: [creator kit](/en/creators) and [overlay](/en/overlay) — fan project, not an official partner.

## What to do at 03:00 if you skipped Netflix

Open the **official** Rockstar YouTube upload or [rockstargames.com/VI](https://www.rockstargames.com/VI). Skip random re-uploads for the first hour. Same frames; better for scrub.

## What we will not write tonight

No fake PC date. No invented collectible totals. No shop names Rockstar did not show. After the public upload we publish notes from **on-screen** geography only. Database rows stay empty until a name or type is official or clearly trailer-visible.
