Grand Theft Auto VI is the first mainline GTA built around a couple instead of a trio of strangers. The confirmed playable leads are Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval — marketed as partners in crime and in life. Map-6 is a geography product first; this page exists because “gta 6 characters” and “lucia caminos” searches land on map sites that still have zero character coverage. We keep it source-safe: official trailers, Rockstar/Take-Two marketing, and named press previews — not fan-fiction backstories.
Lucia is the series’ first non-optional female protagonist. Official framing shows legal trouble (including an ankle monitor in trailer language) and a character who is not a guest slot. Jason is her partner; preview reporting has cited a military-flavored background used to justify certain mission perspectives. Neither fact authorizes a novel-length origin story. If a site lists childhood streets, unseen siblings, or stat spreads, it is guessing.
Dual-protagonist switching returns, narrowed from GTA 5’s three. Previews and a Rockstar North interview (via Famitsu / GamesRadar translations) say you can swap in the open world, while some missions lock a viewpoint or force a swap — for example a getaway that puts Lucia in the driver’s seat. Romance and “perfect couple” min-maxing have been described as optional, not a power gate. Map-6 will update this paragraph if Rockstar publishes a systems explainer.
Geography is how we beat wiki clones. Lucia and Jason’s trailer grammar is Leonida itself: Ocean Drive neon, Keys causeways, Grassrivers humidity, Port Gellhorn steel, Ambrosia exclusivity, Mount Kalaga quiet. Open /map with Landmarks on, pause a trailer on a hotel or airboat channel, and Share a deep link into your notes. Character literacy without spatial literacy is just celebrity gossip.

Editions (Standard $79.99 vs Ultimate $99.99 US) do not change who you play — see the Ultimate comparison.
What we will not publish: leak dossiers of unused character models, fake Criminal Profile unlock tables, or “confirmed” third protagonists. AdSense and search quality both punish invented cast lists. When Rockstar names a new supporting player on Newswire, we add a short sourced blurb and a map CTA — we do not retrofit a wiki overnight.
Creator angle: Streamer theme on Map-6 plus a Lucia/Jason caption that names the district (“Keys causeway, not generic Florida”) outperforms “new character leak” thumbnails. Overlay at /overlay keeps chrome off camera. Credit GTADB CC BY 4.0 where basemap lineage applies. See the clip-kit guide.
Next step: read the story page for the official premise, then spend ten minutes on /map panning Vice City → Keys → Port Gellhorn → Grassrivers → Mount Kalaga. You now know the couple and the state. That is the whole characters brief until Rockstar shows more faces.
